Another aspect of the festival is its free outdoor programming in the Quartier Latin. In 2026, Cirqu'easy was set up at Place Pasteur, on Saint-Denis Street, with artists, musicians, and a DJ. The Circothèque, a new addition to the edition, offered workshops behind the Grande Bibliothèque, and the Eau là là tour stopped in parks around the city.

It's no coincidence that this event takes place in Montréal. The city is the birthplace of renowned Quebec companies like Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Éloize, Les 7 doigts, and Cirque Alfonse, which have toured the world.
