The Festival des couleurs de Rigaud returns on October 10, 11, and 12, 2026 for its 28th edition. During the long Thanksgiving weekend, this event brings together outdoor performances, artisans, local products, children's activities, and First Nations culture at the foot of the montagne de Rigaud. It's the perfect opportunity to admire the landscapes and nature with your family. The event's slogan sums up the atmosphere well: « Tire-toi une bûche! » (roughly, "pull up a log and stay a while!").

The festival takes place exclusively at the park, at 5, rue Pagé, in Rigaud:
- Saturday, October 10: from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
- Sunday, October 11: from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
- Monday (Thanksgiving): from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The schedule may change depending on the weather. All activities are outdoors: dress accordingly to fully enjoy the experience and nature. You can enter the site via rue Pagé, rue Boisé-des-Franciscaines or rue Jacqueline. New this year: the site and the Grande scène have been redesigned for better visibility.

Saturday, October 10
- 12 p.m. — WHAT'S NEXT?!: a rock and punk rock cover band, a local talent (the drummer and singer are natives of Rigaud), for a performance where energy and fun meet.
- 3 p.m. — Les Gars du Nord: seven Acadian artists, including Wilfred LeBouthillier and Danny Boudreau, blending country and Celtic sounds.
Sunday, October 11
- 12 p.m. — Something New: a tribute to the Beatles with period costumes and instruments, for all ages.
- 3 p.m. — Le Vent du Nord: the traditional quintet presents its 13th album, Voisinages.
Monday, October 12
- 1 p.m. — France D'Amour, with Éléonore Lagacé as a special guest.

First Nations: Pow wow Dancers from Kahnawà:ke
On Saturday and Sunday, at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m., traditional and Pow wow dancers from Kahnawà:ke perform in front of the main stage, a highlight of the weekend. Indigenous art workshops offer a unique craft experience: learn to make medicine bags and corn husk dolls.
New for 2026
- Contes et légendes de la montagne de Rigaud: Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Sanctuaire Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes de Rigaud (18, rue Bourget, 1.5 km from the park, parking available). A great way to discover the mountain's stories. Actor Jean-Marc Lavigne tells the legend of the potato field.
- Enhanced Accessibility: adapted parking at the rue Pagé entrance, reserved area facing the shows, and adapted toilets for people with reduced mobility.
- Eco-responsibility: the Maison des jeunes de Rigaud raises awareness among festival-goers about waste sorting. Bring your water bottle: a refill station is available on-site.
Family Fun: An Outdoor Event with Games and Local Flavors

The youth zone offers daily activities for children: crafts with La Ruche Créative, giant games and skill games with La Riboulingue, mini construction site, karaoke on a giant screen, and fantastic characters of la Fée Adélia.
Local product enthusiasts won't want to miss the Espace artisans, the Marché des saveurs, and the food trucks, where regional producers set up for the occasion. The bar and terrace serve local beers and spirits, hot cider, and coffee. A picnic? It's allowed (no outside alcohol). Leashed dogs are welcome on the site and on the sentiers de L'Escapade. These trails are perfect for a walk or a short hike, a pleasant route between shows.
